About Kim Glenn
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah. I am also a Certified Sex Therapist
I have provided thousands of hours of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) sessions to clients (YES! EMDR can effectively be utilized remotely!). I utilize EFT (Emotionally-Focused Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy), and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) within my practice.
We can create the future we desire!
It is possible to move from a place of shame into a place of acceptance.
That’s what I love about this work! I have helped many individuals move from feeling “stuck,” often painfully so for decades, to a sense of well-being and contentment. I have seen relationships flourish and thrive. I have witnessed individuals embrace the fullness of their authentic selves. It is such an honor for me to be a facilitator on this journey for others.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy volunteering both nationally and locally in animal welfare work to help dogs become the best version of themselves so they can be adopted into loving homes.
My favorite part of this work is helping shy and fearful dogs learn to trust again. Seeing their progress is amazing! Dogs are such a great example of resilience and unconditional love!
I also like “walking-the-talk” of work/life balance and I often provide telehealth sessions from beautiful areas of the country as I travel and camp! I enjoy sharing new scenery with my clients. My therapy dog likes to help with therapy, and I encourage your pets to be with you during our Intensive. They can be of great comfort!
I enjoy working with individuals and couples of all sexual orientations and lifestyles.
I am a kink-positive/knowledgeable, and LGBTQ-affirmative therapist. I embrace a sexual-health model and align my work to the definition of sexual health provided by the World Health Organization which states,
“Sexual health is a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity... For sexual health to be attained and maintained, the sexual rights of all persons must be respected, protected and fulfilled.”
